Few states take flooring as seriously as Andhra Pradesh. Granite from local quarries, large-format vitrified tiles and marble entrances are points of pride in AP homes — which makes damage during construction especially painful. A protection sheet programme costs a fraction of one re-polishing job, and it is quickly becoming standard practice on AP sites.
Where we work in Andhra Pradesh
Our home base for AP work is Kurnool, where we serve the city and district directly. Beyond Kurnool, we take up scheduled projects across the state — Nandyal, Anantapur, Kadapa, Tirupati, Guntur, Vijayawada and other towns — planning material and crew so each site is covered in a single coordinated visit. For large commercial projects we can station a team for the duration of the fit-out.
The AP project pattern we see most
Independent house construction dominates in AP, and it follows a familiar sequence: flooring goes down early because owners want to see the granite laid, then months of carpentry, painting and electrical work happen on top of it. That sequence is exactly what full-coverage sheet installation is designed for — the floor gets its protective skin the day it is finished, and comes out flawless at gruhapravesam.
Materials for AP's favourite floors
- Granite — PP sheet coverage with taped seams; Bubble Guard on polished black granite where impact marks show most.
- Vitrified tile — tile protection sheets with cushioning over freshly laid areas while grout cures.
- Marble — Bubble Guard as standard; marble is the softest of the three and scratches first.
Painting season? Protect first.
A large share of our AP calls come just before painting — inside and out. A before-paint barrier laid one day ahead of the painters keeps drips, splatter and sanding dust off the floor entirely, and removal after the final coat reveals flooring that needs nothing more than a sweep.
